You Won’t Believe How Elon Musk Got Punched in the Face
Tesla CEO Elon Musk recently caught everyone’s attention during a White House press conference with President Donald Trump—not for his work, but for his visibly swollen and bruised eye. Many wondered what caused the injury and why Musk looked like this in such a high-profile event.
When asked about the swollen eye, Musk humorously explained that his 5-year-old son, X Æ A-12 (nicknamed “Little X”), was the culprit. Musk joked, “I was playing with X and said, ‘Go ahead, punch me in the face.’ And he actually did.” Musk laughed and said it didn’t hurt much at the moment but later his eye swelled up and turned black.
President Trump joined in the fun, teasing Musk by saying, “Did X do that? X could do that. If you know X, you know.” The light-hearted banter brought a smile to the room during the press conference, easing the atmosphere.
Musk also made a playful comment when reporters asked about his injury, saying, “I wasn’t even near France,” referencing Brigitte Macron, France’s First Lady, who recently made headlines for slapping President Emmanuel Macron in a viral incident.
During the event at the Oval Office, Trump praised Musk’s work with the “Department of Government Efficiency” (DOGE) and presented him with a golden key. Despite some past policy disagreements, Trump confirmed Musk would continue his special government role, which allows him to work up to 130 days per year in a federal capacity.
Meanwhile, a recent New York Times report has stirred controversy by alleging Musk’s drug use habits. According to the report, Musk admitted to using ketamine frequently enough to affect his bladder. Sources claimed he regularly takes ecstasy and psychedelic mushrooms and keeps a stash of medications including Adderall. The report also mentioned Musk’s active campaigning for Trump while reportedly using these substances.
