“Time to Crush Them!” Furious Putin Hits Back After Trump Calls Him ‘Crazy’

U.S. President Donald Trump was seen trying to mediate peace between Russia and Ukraine. But those diplomatic efforts now seem to have failed, and what follows is a full-blown verbal clash between two of the world’s most powerful leaders—Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Tensions have escalated quickly, and now both sides are taking off the diplomatic gloves. Trump is reportedly so frustrated with Putin’s defiance that he is considering imposing fresh, tougher sanctions on Russia. Moreover, Trump may lift the current restrictions on Western weapons provided to Ukraine—giving Ukraine a green light to strike deep inside Russian territory.

Trump’s Warning or Empty Threat?

According to The Wall Street Journal, Trump is seriously contemplating stronger measures against Russia, including lifting limits on how Ukraine uses American weapons. However, analysts are divided—some believe this is just political posturing, while others see it as a signal of a dramatic shift in U.S. strategy.

Until now, Trump has refrained from putting real pressure on Putin, even criticizing Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on several occasions.

Putin Strikes Back—Digitally

Putin, meanwhile, has gone on the offensive in the digital domain. He openly targeted U.S. tech giants like Microsoft and Zoom, calling them hostile entities and demanding a complete shift toward domestic Russian software. His statement came just days after Trump labeled him “crazy” in a public post.

Battlefield Boundaries Could Be Redrawn

If Trump lifts restrictions on Ukraine’s use of Western-supplied weapons, it could mark a turning point in the conflict. Ukrainian forces could potentially target Russian military bases, command centers, and critical infrastructure far beyond the frontlines.

George Rivero, a Russia-Ukraine conflict expert, said this move would give Ukraine the unprecedented freedom to strike Russian supply chains and military leadership directly.

Diplomacy Is Dead?

Trump’s previous efforts at shuttle diplomacy appear to have failed. If he neither imposes new sanctions nor lifts weapons restrictions, it would be seen as a major retreat from America’s traditional stance on Russia. But if he does act, the conflict could enter an entirely new—and dangerous—phase.
