Aircraft Cleared, But Singapore Flight Delayed
While the aircraft was cleared after inspection, the rigorous procedures caused a delay to its next flight—UL308 bound for Singapore.
“Safety and security of our passengers and crew remain our highest priority,” the airline assured, emphasizing its commitment to upholding global safety standards.
Pahalgam Terror Attack: The Trigger for Global Vigilance
The security alert stems from the April 22 terror attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir, where 26 people, mostly tourists, were gunned down in the deadliest assault in the Valley since Article 370 was revoked in 2019.
The Resistance Front (TRF), a proxy group for Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), claimed responsibility. The brutal incident led India to downgrade diplomatic relations with Pakistan, intensifying regional tension.
