Shocking Photos Reveal U.S. Warplanes Vanished from Qatar Base!
U.S. military strategists are rushing to secure assets in the Middle East as Iran’s missile attacks on Israel get more intense. Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar, a vital regional base for American forces, appears to have seen the covert removal of almost all U.S. aircraft, according to satellite imagery and open-source data.
Satellite images from Planet Labs PBC show a significant change at Al Udeid between June 5 and June 19. Numerous planes, including sophisticated reconnaissance jets and C-130 Hercules transporters, disappeared from their parking spaces. This mass evacuation appears aimed at protecting U.S. assets from potential Iranian missile strikes or air raids.
On June 19, the U.S. Embassy in Qatar issued a security alert. Access to Al Udeid has been strictly limited, with both military personnel and civilian staff advised to remain vigilant amid the escalating regional conflict.
AFP’s analysis of open-source aviation records revealed related movements: Twenty-seven American aerial refuelers, KC-46A Pegasus and KC-135 Stratotanker aircraft, left American bases for Europe between June 15 and June 18. Twenty-five were still operating in Europe as of late June 19, with only two having returned. These tankers indicate potential U.S. military readiness and are essential for long-range air operations. Retired Lt. Gen. Mark Schwartz of the RAND Corporation, a veteran of Middle East deployments, told AFP that Al Udeid is highly vulnerable to missile and drone attacks given its proximity to Iran. Even minor shrapnel could disable aircraft and ground crews. Reynolds removing the planes is a proactive measure to mitigate collateral damage.
Although Israel and Iran have been exchanging strikes for over a week, the United States has not formally entered the conflict. On June 19, the White House stated that President Trump would make a decision “within the next two weeks” on potential U.S. military involvement.
