India Deploys S-400 ‘Sudharshan Chakra’ to Neutralise Missile Threat

In a dramatic response to Pakistan’s failed missile offensive, India activated its Russian-made S-400 air defence system, code-named ‘Sudharshan Chakra’, to intercept and destroy 15 incoming missiles fired at Indian cities late Wednesday night and early Thursday morning.

Sources confirmed that the Indian Air Force used the S-400 to target moving threats, successfully neutralising all hostile projectiles before impact.

Harpy Drones Unleashed to Silence Pak Radars

Following the interception, India launched Israeli-made HARPY drones to conduct a Suppression of Enemy Air Defences (SEAD) operation. These drones disabled multiple Pakistani air defence radars, including a critical unit located in Lahore, significantly weakening Pakistan’s aerial monitoring capability.

What Makes HARPY Drones So Lethal

The HARPY drone is a highly specialized anti-radiation loitering munition, designed to hunt and destroy radar-based systems. It carries a high-explosive warhead and uses an advanced onboard radar to autonomously detect, lock onto, and destroy any radiation-emitting targets.

With its ability to strike from any angle, whether in a steep dive or a low glide, the Harpy is ideal for deep-strike, round-the-clock missions, operating for up to nine hours in enemy territory.

S-400: India’s Sky Shield with a 600-Km Eye

The S-400 Triumf, one of the most advanced air defence systems in the world, gives India a massive strategic edge. Capable of detecting threats up to 600 km away and intercepting them within a 400-km range, the system can handle multiple high-speed targets simultaneously—making it a nightmare for hostile air assaults.

India’s decision to combine cutting-edge radar suppression with elite missile interception highlights its readiness to defend against evolving threats with precision and overwhelming technological superiority.
