Pakistan Confirms, Bangladesh Awaits Response

Pakistan has confirmed its participation in the event, while India awaits a response from Bangladesh. If Bangladesh also confirms, it will mark a historic moment of regional cooperation. The IMD has expressed its desire to include representatives from all nations that were part of undivided India during the department’s inception.

Government’s Special Contributions to the Occasion

To commemorate the 150 years of IMD, the Government of India is releasing a special Rs 150 commemorative coin, and the Home Ministry has approved a special tableaux for Republic Day. These efforts reflect the government’s commitment to honoring the department’s legacy.
