IMS International Conference Wraps Up with Inspiring Panel on Women’s Empowerment

Noida: The international conference held at IMS Noida concluded on the third day with a panel discussion and award ceremony. During the event, distinguished guests shared their thoughts and provided inspiring messages to bring about societal change. On Saturday, the chief guest for the event was Ms. Lata Gautam, Secretary, Ministry of Labour Welfare, Government of India. Special guests included Dr. Amit Dhawan, Director & Scientist (G) DRDO, Veena Swarup, Executive Director (HR), EIL, Padma Shri Kamalini Asthana, and Padma Shri Nalini Asthana. IMS Noida’s Director, Professor (Dr.) Vikas Dhawan, also expressed his views.

Professor (Dr.) Vikas Dhawan, Director of IMS Noida, mentioned that the aim of the conference is not just to provide a platform for the exchange of knowledge, but also to inspire students and researchers towards innovation and excellence. He congratulated all participants for their contributions to the international conference and emphasized the need for more such initiatives in the future.

Dr. Neelam Saxena, Dean of IMS, shared that during the event, a panel discussion on the theme “Women’s Empowerment and the New Definition of Progress” was held, where experts discussed the social and professional advancement of women. The speakers emphasized that by providing women with opportunities, positive societal change can be brought about.

During the closing session of the conference, teachers and students were honored for their outstanding research work. Awards were presented in the categories of Best Research Paper, Best Business Idea, and Best Poster.

At the end of the event, the best research paper awards were presented to Sachin Batra and Lalitank Jain from the Faculty of Mass Communication, Jitendra Kumar and Dr. Manish Kumar from the IT Faculty, and Varlika Nigam from the Faculty of Law.

The Best Business Idea awards were given to Varun Khera and Farhan (first place), Radhika Kumari and Punyashree Gupta (second place), and Zia Pahuja (third place). Additionally, Anshika Goyal, Angela Antony, and Anushka Mishra were honored for their poster-making work.
