IMS Inter-Departmental Sports Competition Concludes
Noida: The two-day inter-departmental sports competition held at IMS Noida successfully concluded. At the end of the program on Friday, the winners were honored with medals and certificates. During this two-day competition, students from Management, IT, Law, and Mass Communication departments showcased excellent performance and displayed great sportsmanship.

While honoring the winners, IMS Noida’s Director, Professor Dr. Vikas Dhawan, stated that sports not only improve physical health but also help in developing important life skills such as discipline, dedication, and teamwork. Sports competitions contribute significantly to the overall development of students. I congratulate all participants for their outstanding performances and extend special best wishes to the winners. I hope they continue to perform excellently in the future and bring glory to the institution.

IMS’s Sports Coordinator, Reena Massey, mentioned that the two-day inter-departmental sports competition featured table tennis, boxing, chess, and carrom competitions for the students. On Friday, the final matches for both men’s and women’s categories were held. In the boxing competition, Pranjal Yadav won in the 68 kg category, while Priyanshu Bisht claimed victory in the 96 kg category. In the women’s category, Lakshmi Singh and Bhumi Bharti emerged victorious in the 56 kg and 84 kg categories, respectively. In table tennis, Shivam Kumar won in the singles category, and Shivam along with Saurabh won in the doubles category. In the carrom competition, Riya Singh and Shashank Yadav won in the women’s and men’s categories, respectively. Finally, Vijay Halder and Manvi Sharma triumphed in the chess competition.
