TWICE Sets the Stage Ablaze with ‘THIS IS FOR’ Album and Global Tour—K-Pop Mania Returns!

June 24, 2025, 04:50 PM IST, the world’s favorite K-pop sensation TWICE shocked fans by unveiling their latest album THIS IS FOR and the world tour it will be accompanied by, which will kick off on July 19-20, 2025, at Incheon’s Inspire Arena.

It will be the sixth world tour for the group, following the unprecedented success of their Ready to Be tour that attracted 1.5 million fans. The news, posted on social media, announced 13 early stops in Asia and Australia, such as Osaka, Tokyo, Singapore, and Sydney, with additional dates to follow shortly.

The teaser video of the tour has induced a frenzy, with #TWICEThisIsFor trending globally, marking a new era for the nine-member group.

Tour Highlights Diverse Destinations

The THIS IS FOR tour begins with two nights in Incheon, leading into a Japan dome tour that visits Osaka, Aichi, Fukuoka, and Tokyo, highlighting TWICE’s grip in the territory.

The tour runs through Macao, Bulacan, Singapore, Sydney, Melbourne, Kaohsiung, Hong Kong, and Bangkok, with performances scheduled through December 2025.

A highlight is the 360-degree circular stage set for all venues, which guarantees an immersive experience for fans, described as “ONCE.” Part 1 of the tour is in Asia and Australia, with Part 2—defining Europe, North, and Latin America—hinted at further to be unveiled, building up hype for global fans.

Tour Aligns with Album Comeback

The tour is timed alongside TWICE’s fourth studio Korean album, THIS IS FOR, which is to be released on July 11, 2025, at 1 PM KST.

This is their first Korean studio album since 2021’s Formula of Love: O+T=<3, and fans can expect new hits to be the foundation of the tour’s setlist, with old favorites such as “TT” and “Dance the Night Away.”

The timing, leading up to their 10th anniversary in October of 2025, gives it an added emotional impact, with members teasing a personal and poignant concept. Fans are abuzz with enthusiasm, viewing this as a commemoration of the group’s ten-year trek.

Tour Increases K-Pop’s International Recognition

The announcement of TWICE’s tour solidifies their position as K-pop pioneers, following on from their record-breaking $78.4 million gross Ready to Be tour and sold-out stadiums such as SoFi and MetLife.

The incorporation of solo singles by each of the nine members, also scheduled for release on July 11, 2025, boosts the tour’s buzz, with acts such as Nayeon and Tzuyu poised to shine as solo acts.

The step, announced today, broadens their appeal, possibly attracting new fans. The tour’s strategic extension across several continents reflects K-pop’s increasing world leadership, defying Western music conventions.

Tour Sets a Legacy in Motion

As the THIS IS FOR tour gets underway, its legacy is already shaping up. With fanclub member presales kicking off June 17, 2025, and general sales on June 18, demand is likely to replicate previous sell-outs.

The group’s history of breaking barriers—first K-pop girl group to top-bill U.S. stadiums—makes this tour likely to break attendance records.

Whether it solidifies TWICE’s ten-year reign or sets off a franchise-style series, this tour will be a cultural landmark, bringing fans everywhere together in a celebration of music and perseverance.
