Diaz spoke highly of her costar, calling Foxx “the most talented man in the entertainment business.” She emphasized that if she was going to return to film after such a long break, she wanted to do so alongside someone she trusted and admired.

“If I was going to leave my family for 10 hours a day, I wanted to do it with the most talented man in the entertainment business,” she said.
